Cookie Policy
Effective date: October 29, 2026 ยท Last updated: October 29, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and browser storage used by vectorstreamsystems.com and the MBEstudio studio at studio.vectorstreamsystems.com. It adds detail to the "Cookies and browser storage" section of the Privacy Policy, which governs how information is handled.
Essential cookies
These are needed for the Services to work, so they are always on:
- Sign-in. When you sign in, a cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.
- Free trials. Free trials use cookies that count trial runs, for up to 30 days.
- Your cookie choice. The
vss_consentcookie records the choice you make below, for 12 months, so you are not asked on every visit. It is shared with the studio subdomain so the choice applies there too. When you choose, your browser also sends one request to this site that names the choice (all, essential only, or which optional categories). Like every request, it is seen with its time and your IP address by our content delivery network, and we use it only to count how visitors choose. Nothing else is stored with it.
Browser storage
The studio saves preferences, drafts and example model state in your browser's storage, which stays on your device. Provider keys you enter stay in your browser for the session, or until you remove them if you choose to remember them on that device.
Preferences
Preferences are remembered UI choices. You can allow or decline this category in the cookie settings.
Analytics and advertising
We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not serve targeted advertising. The Analytics category in the cookie settings is off by default and has nothing in it today. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first, and nothing in that category will run unless you allow it.
Service providers
Some service providers we use, such as our content delivery network (Cloudflare) or payment processors (such as Stripe), may set their own cookies to provide their services. Those cookies are governed by the providers' own policies.
Cookie settings
The Cookie settings link in the footer of every page opens a panel where you choose which optional categories you allow. You can change your choice at any time.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser's settings. Blocking essential cookies stops sign-in and free trials from working.
